Dynamic Rails Applications with Backbone.js

The JavaScript-heavy usage in web applications became very common. In the Ruby on Rails world it isn't different. Although there are several methods to help in these interactive applications development, this methods mix the Ruby code with the JavaScript code causing a mess.

In this talk, Rafael will talk about Backbone.js, a JavaScript MVC framework, which proposes a simple separation of JavaScript code with the backend code. Rafael will show Backbone.js concepts with code and theory concluding with some integration between Ruby on Rails and Backbone
