The conference will take place at Frei Caneca Convention Center. The conference center is located at the 4th floor of the Frei Caneca Shopping Center, located at the Cerqueira César neighborhood area, around 5 blocks away from the famous Paulista Ave.

You will find excellent hotels, restaurants, bars and several other entertainment places around this area. WikiTravel has a good São Paulo Guide that can help you out. SPTuris is another good resource. It is a good idea make a tour plan before coming, do not forget that São Paulo is a 588 square miles city with no less than 11 million people.

There are many hotels in this area, so try to choose some that's at walking distance from the convention center. We recommend you get in touch with S.Vianna Turismo who is a partner tourism agency that can help you out. One recommendation is the Pergamon Hotel.

If you're arriving from outside of Brazil, you're probably arriving at the Guarulhos International Airport, which is around 17 miles away from the convention center. You should ask for a taxi cab, but be careful to only ride on legally permitted taxis. There should be a taxi line with guides just outside of the airport gates.

Schedule your trip so you arrive at least one day before, on November 2nd. It's going to be a holiday so there should be no heavy traffic. Then try to leave at most by the end of November 5th so you can enjoy the city a bit. We recommend you stay until the weekend.
